QSports History & Background Founded in 2012 by Adil Ahmed & Ghanim Al Mohannadi, QSports pioneered the development of organized recreational sports and activities for the residents of Qatar. With a membership base of 11,000+, comprising both men and women and partnering with organizations like the Qatar Olympic Committee; QSports has grown substantially since its inception. The development of Corporate Sports and Special Events Departments in 2013 to support the implementation of high profile sporting events and sports facilitation for corporate clients provided additional opportunities to QSports. In 2014, MAS Holdings, headed by Mohammed Al Saad Al Kuwari, acquired QSports as a strategic investor to enable QSports to further expand its services. QSports is also supported by a special team of Dr. Tejinder Singh Bhatia a successful entrepeneur/CEO of Q-Tickets and Eric Gardow, former National Coach of Qatar baskeball team. Both individuals being immense local expertise to guide the strategic growth of QSports as a world class organization. With the introduction of QSports Academy, QSports Clubs, and QSports Fitness programs in 2015, the company is now well on the way to becoming a premier multisport event company in Qatar with a proven track record of working collaboratively with sponsors, partners and clients to deliver high quality sporting activities across Qatar. Our Mission We still live by our ethos of promoting a healthy lifestyle and stimulating social interaction by providing the residents of Qatar the opportunity to play, watch and enjoy sports on a regular basis.
